v8.1.7262 - 5th January 2023
- Imaging Priority
When imaging an NVMe system disk, where the target disk is also NVMe, the system can become unresponsive due to I/O saturation.
We've changed the priority levels to compensate for this, and the default process priority is now level 3 - 'Normal'.
The range is now:
1 - Idle
2 - Below Normal
3 - Normal {default}
4 - Above Normal
Previously the default priority was '4 - High Priority'. This is no-longer an option.
- Changed Block Tracker
We've fixed a 'Volume in use' error reported by the Windows Disk Management Console.
- Email Parameters
We've added a new email parameter {BackupFileSize}.
Note: For split files, this only gives the size of the last file. This is a known limitation.
- Restore Only Popup Dialog
When running a background backup task, the 'Restore Only' message dialog could be hidden behind other windows. This has been resolved.

Macrium Reflect Free Edition is now deprecated. Now, once the trial period has expired, Macrium Reflect will run in a 'Restore Only' mode rather than revert to the Free Edition.

The commands to create new backups are grayed out in the user interface.
Please see here, for more information and a list of trial keys to use when testing.
